Resepi Kasam Ngot Kampung

Ari nya, bisi meli babi kampung apai aku ba sekula ya din. Di jual bala orang dia. Di tunu kami tiga sida Indai aku tengah hari nya muai bulu ya, ngikis bulu ya, ngasuh kulit kuning-kuning. Aku asuh orang ngara ka nya ba api. Nadai jaku ngara agi nya. Celum.. Tang udah dikikis-kikis nyo kuning emas ga tudah kulit nya tadi. Di tetak apai aku. Tulang bisi. Isi bisi. Isi nya ka dikasam indai aku. Tulang nya disup gulai daun bungkang tutuk ka lia. Nyamai amat kena nguah ka asi. Tu kedua kali apai ku meli babi kampung jual orang ke sekula kia. Baka ke nemu kami sebilik sigi ka makai nya. Ke dulu suba udah nyadi kasam udah abis dipanduk lemai tu tadi. Masam-masam masin asai ya. Umbas ya asai. Kena ngulai asi, nibuh beri isi tau meh. Aku meratika indai aku ngasam ngot nya td alu tuliska ditu. Ngaika enda ingat ila. Ketu ka chara indai ku ngasam ya.


1. Isi ngau gemuk ngot kampung ke udah ditunu ba api. Kulit kuning-kuning
2. Garam kasar
3. Puchuk daun kepayang
4. Beras (Kira ngumbas ya kena nyampur ngot nya tadi)

a) Daun kepayang nya tadi di iris-iris umbas ya pemesai. Udah nya rebus ngau ai. Anang ngasuh mansau ndar. Udah mansau pantis daun nya tadi muai ai ya.
b) Guring beras ba kali nibuh beminyak sampai ya kuning-kuning cokelat.
c) Peruk isi ngot nya tadi ngau garam kasar sampai garam kasar nya tadi nyo nadai peda agi.
d) Tama ka beras tadi ngau daun kepayang, peruk baru.
e) Udah nya, simpan ngot ke udah diperuk tadi dlm balang kaca. Ti kelia suba simpan org dlm kebuk/tajau( Nda nemu ni bagi) Sapa ke nemu, tau ninggal ka kumin ditu,
f) Dah nya simpan ke daun kepayang ba atas ndar ngai ka bisi ulat. Dah nya tutup rapit.

Anti seminggu alu nyadi meh kasam kitai tu tadi. Tau dilulun sereta direbus kenya aja.

I know this one uncle long time ago. How did we know each other? Quite a long story and a bit confuse later, so no need to story here.
Just now, he chats with me at FB. Here it goes....

Uncle : Where are you?
Me : Still having my 4-months-holiday.
Uncle : When are you going back to Labuan?
Me : Finish already uncle. After this, I'll pursue my study at UPM in Bachelor of Forestry Science.
Bla bla bla...
Uncle : Anang labuh pengerindu ngagai org laut ti d study ba UPM, OK. Ingat menua Sarawak.
Me : OK Uncle.
Uncle : Iban kawin enggau Iban, ukai laut. Ingat pesan Uncle ya.
Me : Hehehe.. Ila ku mai lagu Ricky Andrewson Siti Penanggur Antara Tua. Ok.. Ingat ku pesan d Uncle.
Uncle : That's good.


Uncle, uncle. Just like my aunties and uncles at Bayong there. huhuhuhu.... But I thanked God. He said so because he cares for me.

Matriculation in Labuan 6

Last episode. I'm going to talk about my last day and my favourite food in Labuan.

It was fruit season at Labuan and I am a local fruit lover, of course would love it. Back from the church, for sure I pass this place and I bought fruits here.

One weekend, Pam, Evon, Mon and I went to this place because we all craving for durian. Then we bought a durian with RM8 per kg. Just make don't know with the price. Got 2 people also eating the durian next to us, maybe tourist ey. They offered us their durian because they can't finish it. And here it is.

31/12/2010. We, four of us, celebrate our New Year with all those food. Hahaha... Nice one guys.

Then meet this fruit that people called belunu. First time I met with this kind of fruit. My room mate introduced it to me.

The taste is a bit sweet and sour. Sedap juga.

Nasi Ayam Berempah Berkuah Kacang Dal. This one, it comes with many kuah. Such as black pepper, lemon, sweet and sour and so on. I meet this rice during Bazaar Ramadhan. You have to queue up for a long line there.

My favourite of the most. Love love love love it. First time I ate this one during one event in KML. Forgot what event. Every time KML got big event, for sure there got many kedai makan2 at parking lot. I tried this one. Uh..yummy. Then, I found it during Bazaar Ramadhan. After a quite some time I didn't eat this one, my felo sells this mee. Me..apa lagi. Menambah kegebuan la. Hahaha... If you are unlucky, this one is a no no for you or you have to wait for a very long time. Char Kuey Tiaw.

Nasi paprik and puding kelapa at Pagayaman. This one also nice. This was the last time I go there with Sab, Jun and Jun's room mate.

Among the cleanest bed. No doubt about that. You can ask my room mate. Feel sad leaving this bed. A place like no others.


The main actor here is that cat. Gago pusak ya. Before I put this outside, she slept on my bed. Then, I tidied up my bed, she slept in that box. Then I put that box outside she was still there until I have to wake her up because that Encik had come to fetch us.

Oh.. This one, I don't want to talk much. Bikin malu. Lucu pun ada. Kiut pun ada.

Conclusion, I have my fine day and I have my bad day here.

Matriculation in Labuan 5

They threw me to Karisma A 1st floor Room No. 9 (Most of my senior told me this block is a heaven of water) and I found them ----> Roommate Of Mine which are named by their parent as Kristy, Sabrina Auluck and Yasmin Shukrina. We have been go through a lot. We fight, we gossiping, we sleep, we talk, we yell, we laugh, we eat, we share, we cry, we mad, we criticize, we jog, we cook, we merajuk and etc. TOGETHER. Ya la. The family is too far away, have to swim, fly, walk, run from Sarikei-Labuan-Sarikei. Haha. In Labuan I have them only. Almost 24 hours with them. Sorry for everything and thanks for everything. Sorry to say that I miss you all girls. Sab also posted about her room mate. Here.

We ate rambutan given by our neighbour. Thanks Eleena. See that. A jug of tea.

One night a few days after Chinese New Year, we heard a kitten's cry and also Bubble's miaw outside. Since this mother cat always hunting for food and love in our room , so she became one of the room mate and we gave a name for her. She brought her few days old baby. One by one. She gave birth to 3 kittens which had the same color with the mother. So cute. So at that time, I have 3 human room mates plus 1 mother cat plus 3 kittens. They slept inside a box beside my bed. The mother transferred her babies under my table. So they slept there until one early morning, I heard a loud miaw scream from the kitty. I woke up and saw other cat bite the kitten's neck. I screamed out loud and took the kitten. Once I hold the kitten, I saw the blood coming out from the neck. Terpancut dengan banyak sekali. Oh my. I thought I'm going to lose that kitten that morning. I cried. My 2 room mates woke up. For the first time I cried in front of them. I saw the kitten is way too weak. I grabbed my tissue and tried to stop the bleeding. You don't understand and don't know the feeling when I heard the miaw scream and saw a lot of blood coming out that small little kitten. I think I have trauma here. We had to close all the window pans and didn't dare to open it anyhow unless we were inside the room. Luckily that morning my class was in front of my room so I went back to the room to check on her. Thanks God she still alive until I finished my matric. I named her as Matics. A few days she refused to breast feed. Min and I went to town to buy a pet bottle to feed her. I told my sister and my sister asked her friend in Labuan to help me to send this kitten to vet. At that time, she can play with the brothers. Canceled the plan. She was very tiny compared to her brothers. After a few days, maybe the pain was not really painful she started to breast feed again. I cried for happiness. But I saw something weird with her head. The head was abnormal and I touched the neck. I feel something solid inside. Then I discussed with my room mates, Min and I sent her to vet using taxi. (hahah...sanggup ow.) The vet told us that was nanah. They gave us the antibiotics. Then she back to normal. She can play, bite the brothers. Can you feel and imagine how adorable they are? One day we let them go. One of the brother named Biol was alone and we brought him back. The other 2 we didn't find. We kept Biol until 1 day before we leaved KML. Min's dad brought him back to KK using police's plane. Within the study week, my neighbour told me that she saw two kittens just like Biol on the roof behind the surau. I went there and check. It was them Matics and Chemist. They were still alive and Matics is still small compared to Chemist and Biol. We tried to reunite them as a family but the mother didn't want to accept Biol because long time didn't see him. The siblings did the same too. But Biol still want play with them. I pity both side. Pity Biol because his real family didn't want to accept him. Pity Chemist and Matics because they were scared with Biol since Biol seems too fierce playing with them. (ganas gilak bermain). Have to separate them again and put them back on the roof. Everyday, we sent them food since it was hard for them to find food there unless drinking the mother's milk. The day when Sab and I leaving the KML forever, Chemist and Matics looked at us from the roof with one kind of expression. I still remember that moment. Still fresh in my mind. A video of them.
